While it has some good performances and fun action, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome lacks its predecessors’ rough and gritty quality.

Taking everything that made the original work and expanding upon it, Mad Max 2 is bigger, bolder, and better than its predecessor.

With a great leading man, excellent cinematography, and insane stuntwork, Mad Max shows that creativity can overcome a limited budget.
