The Best of Sex and Violence (1982)

While it’s nothing more than a trailer compilation, The Best of Sex and Violence works thanks mainly to John Carradine’s dry humor.

While most of the humor doesn’t land and relies too heavily on being “so bad it’s good,” Manborg is a decent love letter to 80s genre cinema.

While its humor is primarily low-brow, and it has shoddy production values, The Taint is a fascinating piece of guerrilla filmmaking.

While hampered by numerous jump scares and elements borrowed from other movies, Smile is a uniquely terrifying horror film.

While it suffers from a sluggish pace, Five Star is a nonetheless fascinating look at life on the streets with some great performances.
